TCEQ-Approved Maintenance Provider Certification.

Two regulator-aligned courses for Texas On-Site Sewage Facility license holders. Each program is structured around TCEQ's continuing-education framework — taught in person at our Bay City classroom.

COURSE 01 · BASIC

Basic Maintenance Training

TCEQ-approved basic maintenance provider certification course. The entry program for new and renewing Maintenance Providers — built to cover the fundamentals of OSSF inspection, routine pumping schedules, and the impact of household habits on system health.

This course is designed for license holders who need regulator-aligned classroom hours toward OSSF Maintenance Provider renewal, and for new entrants preparing to apply for the license through TCEQ.

What's covered

  • System fundamentals — anaerobic, aerobic, and conventional configurations under Texas 30 TAC Chapter 285.
  • Routine inspections — what TCEQ expects in a documented MP visit, and how to identify potential issues early.
  • Pumping schedules — usage-based intervals and the household habits that change them.
  • Environmental impact — how proper maintenance protects groundwater, soil, and the property owner.

COURSE 02 · ADVANCED

Advanced Maintenance Training

TCEQ-approved advanced maintenance provider certification course. Built for experienced Maintenance Providers who want to deepen diagnostic skill, sharpen written documentation, and own the full set of inspection rigor expected of senior MPs.

The curriculum follows the same TCEQ framework as the basic course but adds advanced scenarios — failing component diagnosis, complex aerobic system troubleshooting, and how household-impact analysis translates into clear homeowner guidance.

What's covered

  • Advanced diagnostics — interpreting failing component patterns, sampling correctly, and writing it up.
  • Aerobic systems — troubleshooting ATU performance issues without over-recommending repairs.
  • Documentation rigor — TCEQ inspection records, retention, and what regulator audits look for.
  • Customer communication — how to be honest about what's wrong and what isn't.
